Pros: The BitTorrent Ultra Accelerator is an add on tool for the BitTorrent peer to peer file sharing client that improves its performance. The entire bandwidth that is available at any given time is utilized for the purposes of downloading, and this is a great improvement over the basic BitTorrent application which puts upper limits on the download speeds. When downloading there are more frequent searches which results in more peers being added to a given download. Both these factors result in reduced downloading times and therefore better download performance on an average.
Other features are management and control oriented but still help in overall improvement. These include automatic resumption of paused downloads, as well as automatically managing downloads on start / stop connections (by making this process automatic). Configuration information is stored on shut down and automatically reloaded on startup, requiring less effort on the users side. Due to more frequent searching as well as a higher number of simultaneous searches, the overall search performance is significantly better, with more results showing up on average.
Cons: The simplicity of the interface that makes it easy to use, also ends up making it a negative factor for the software. It allows for no customization whatsoever and thus the user is stuck with whatever he or she has got.

The jet ski engines can be used to propel the yacht, provided that the required speed is not higher than 8 knots. At higher speeds of up to 30 knots, the two diesel engines can be switched on continuously. When more powerful acceleration is needed, the electric motors in the jet skis support the diesel engines for a faster and more fuel-efficient journey. At the same time, the diesel engines of Audi Trimaran recharge the batteries in the two jet skis in the same way it’s done in a hybrid car.

KOMPAS.com — Tullis Onstott, ilmuwan dari Princeton University, bersama rekannya dari Afrika Selatan, Belgia, dan Belanda menemukan spesies cacing baru yang disebut Halicephalobus mephisto. Ilmuwan menemukan cacing ini hidup di kedalaman 900-3.600 meter di lapisan air bawah tanah pada sebuah lokasi penambangan emas di Afrika Selatan.
Onstott mengaku terkejut dan tak menyangka menemukan cacing di kedalaman tersebut. "Menakutkan setengah mati ketika pertama kali melihat cacing itu bergerak. Cacing itu terlihat seperti benda hitam kecil yang bergerak berputar-putar," ungkap Onstott seperti dikutip Dailymail, Kamis (2/6/11).

Sebelumnya, banyak ilmuwan mengira bahwa hanya mikroorganisme yang mampu hidup pada kedalaman tersebut. Sebabnya, oksigen dan nutrisi yang terbatas serta temperatur yang ekstrem. Namun, dengan penemuan ini, Onstott membuktikan bahwa organisme multiselular pun bisa hidup di lingkungan itu.

Dalam publikasinya di jurnal Nature, Rabu (1/6/11), Onstott menguraikan bahwa Halicephalobus mephisto masuk dalam filum Nematoda. Ia memiliki ukuran kecil, sekitar 0,55 mm serta bisa menoleransi temperatur hingga lebih dari 48 derajat celsius. Cara bereproduksi ialah secara aseksual (tanpa kawin) dan memilih makanan bakteri di bawah permukaan tanah.

Sumber mempercayai bahwa spesies Cacing Jenis Baru itu mulanya hidup di permukaan, namun dibawa ke lapisan bawah oleh air hujan masa lalu. Cacing ini mirip dengan Cacing yang membusukkan buah dan mungkin memiliki kekerabatan dengannya. Penemuan ini bisa menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan bawah tanah ternyata lebih kompleks dari yang di duga. Penemuan makhluk multiselular ini juga memberi implikasi penting bagi pencarian makhluk hidup bawah tanah di planet lain di Tata Surya. Selain menemukan Halicephalobus mephisto, Onstott dan rekannya juga menemukan cacing lain, di antaranya Plectus aquatilis.
